Short Summary[]
After seven victories in the Crellan Drome, Tom is challenged to another match by CodeMaster Crellan. In preparation for his match, he scans Mugic that he is tricked by Klay and Krystella into believing it will double his power, but it really switches their stats.

• Crellan is revealed to have obtained a scan of Crommax, a “nasty, freaky, evil twin version” of Maxxor.
Episode[]
Tom's team was Tartarek, Maxxor, Antidaeon, Tangath Toborn, Deenha and Blazier. Crellans team was Cromaxx, Gleptodd, Ariak, Ursis, Smildon and Proboskar . Before the match tom scanned a new mugic called modulation . H'earring said it belonged to Rarran and doubles a creatures energy. But the mugic actually switches attack abilities. Tom didnt know that. First Maxxor attacks Smildon in Pouril Forest. Tom easily wins. Next was Maxxor vs Gleptodd in Sha-Kree Flats , a location that decreases energy (actually Sha-Kree Flats is suppose to give an elementalist another element at the begginning of combat).
Tom continually attacks Gleptodd and loses energy. He uses modulation to gain energy. Tom realizes the Mugic didnt heal him. Gleptodd finishes Maxxor off with a Lavalanche . Then it was Tangath Toborn vs Ursis. Tom got rid of Ursis' Drawskin with a Rot Cloud. (rot cloud doesnt destroy battle gear. it deals damage based on if your opponent has an element of earth and air). However Ursis was sacrificed so Cromaxx can be moved to the back of Tom's team. Its Cromaxx vs Blazier in Prexxor Chasm . Tom realises Cromaxx is a caveman version of Maxxor !

Turn 1: Tom's attack (6 vs. 6)
As Tom's Maxxor receives Swift 1 and Range from Skeletal Steed, he uses it to bypass Crellan's front line and attack Smildon in Crellan's second row.
- Maxxor vs. Smildon at Pouril Forest
Smildon hides from Maxxor in the forest undergrowth as Maxxor seeks him out on his Skeletal Steed, catching Maxxor off-guard with Dirge of Decrease for 40 damage. Ursis then follows up with a Slashclaw attack, but Maxxor avoids it. Smildon then lunges at Maxxor, who intercepts the attack with Rock Wave, knocking Smildon away before remounting his Skeletal Steed. Smildon attempts to blast Maxxor with attacks from his Ur-Shard, but Maxxor's Skeletal Steed avoids them, and Maxxor defeats Smildon with Iron Balls.
After combat, Tom moves Tartarek and Blazier forward.
Turn 2: Crellan's attack (6 vs. 5)
- Gleptodd vs. Maxxor at Sha-Kree Flats
Maxxor spots Gleptodd and attacks with Flame Orb and Power Pulse; however, his attacks do minimal damage, and due to the heat of Sha-Kree Flats, he steadily loses Energy and becomes fatigued along with his steed. Maxxor casts Modulation in an attempt to restore Energy; however, Modulation's actual effect is to swap the attack capabilities of both Engaged Creatures. Maxxor attempts to attack with Lavalanche, but fails, and Gleptodd codes Maxxor with Lavalanche instead.
Turn 3: Tom's attack (5 vs. 5)
- Tangath Toborn vs. Ursis at Gloomuck Swamp
Ursis emerges from the swamp and strikes Tangath Toborn with Arborsmash, knocking him back. As Ursis advances, Tangath counter-attacks with Rot Cloud, corroding and destroying Ursis's Droskin. Tangath readies the Sword of Khy'at, but Crellan chooses to use Ursis's ability, sacrificing him to move Cromaxx into the backmost space on Tom's side of the Battleboard.

- Cromaxx vs. Blazier at Prexxor Chasm
