Ixxik is a Past Mipedian Creature in the Alliances Unraveled packs.

Character Origins[]

Ixxik was a Warbeast in ancient Perim.

Appearance[]

Ixxik looks like a large Tyrannosaurus Rex, similar to many Warbeasts from the past. Unlike his fellow Warbeasts, he more animal than elemental like Uboraan and other Warbeasts.

Personality and Behavior[]

Most likely a savage monster predator who will attack any living thing he sees and speaks in a monstrous tone.

He looks similar to the creature skeleton frozen in Glacier Plains it could be a relation of Ixxik or it could be in fact Ixxik.

Strategies[]

With monstrously high Energy and the Warbeast subtype, which allows it to benefit from Ailav, Ixxik can be very hard to bring down in a deck dedicated to supporting it. Due to its hindering ability, Ixxik is generally used as the sole fighting Creature of a deck, using its bulk, high Disciplines, and access to 2 Elemental types to overcome opponents even if its support Creatures are taken out. Ixxik decks, in addition to Ailav, will usually use Xelfe and Ranun to support Ixxik, with these Creatures equipped with Ur-Shard to punish the opponent for targeting them. Enre-hep can also support this strategy by preserving Mugic counters if you lose support Creatures and help Ixxik win combats by giving the opponent Recklessness.

In decks built around Air and Earth without focusing on Ixxik, it is not advisable to use Ixxik as a fighter due to its hindering ability.

Ixxik can be obtained as a bonus card in Secrets of the Lost CIty starter decks.

Ixxik cannot be obtained from Alliances Unraveled booster packs.

- Used by Codemaster Hotekk against Tom. It defeated his Maxxor and Ikkatosh but lost to his Owis. Ixxik was briefly revived when Og was coded, along with all of Hoteek's other creatures, but was beaten again by Tom as Owis.
