Aggroar is OverWorld creature that resembles a dragon-like lizard.

Appearance and Details[]

Aggroar is a thin, bearded dragon-like Overworlder with a short beak, glowing blue eyes with small pupils, and a long, white, glowing main of hair on his head as well as short tufts of this hair on his knees. Aggroar also has finger and toe claws that glow the same color.  Because of the glow, many claim that Aggroar sprang directly from the frosty flames of the legendary Frozen Fire. Aggroar is garbed in a white loin cloth with a golden belt, and a ring on his right hand.  Both hands have four fingers.

This slim, blue Creature appears to move very slowly. However, his relative stillness hides how fast he actually moves. Rather than running along the ground, he actually levitates slightly above it. Known for his Wisdom and Courage, the OverWorld Strategist called Aggroar is a staunch defender of the Frozen Fire.

Character History[]

The legendary Frozen Fire can only be found in the coldest regions of Glacier Plains. Here, it appears as if the ice once inexplicably caught fire and exploded into a sea of flame, only to have been frozen over again by the icy, unrelenting winds of Glacier Plains. Explorers sometimes stumble upon these fields of frozen blue flame. Aggroar lives in this magnificent area of Perim. He dutifully guards the Frozen Fire and records the strange Mugical phenomena that surround it for Najarin and Maxxor.  He performs both these tasks with great care.

Strategies[]

Aggroar can be useful by giving other strategists the Defender Ability, but the pool of strategist creatures that can take advantage of this ability is heavily limited, and most have very poor combat stats. Furthermore, Aggroar is a support Creature with no Mugic counters, limiting your resources. Aggroar's ability can manage to save an essential creature in your deck, so he is still viable to run, although Lomma, Desert Wanderer is often a better Defender than most Strategists. Give Aggroar the Armor of Earthen Might so that he is not affected as much by damaging Mugic and dodges most damaging abilities.

Olkiex, Driver Extraordinaire is arguably the best Creature to use with Aggroar as he has a decent combat-oriented ability and usable stats for a fighter, especially with Metabolic Overloader and Ikkatosh, the Aich King. In decks based around Melody of the Meek, he can also turn Najarin into a Defender.
